School Uniforms

All students, must wear the appropriate uniform to school each day, unless otherwise specified.  A uniform helps create a comfortable learning environment and instills a sense of pride in our learning community. By standardizing uniforms for all students, we are able to take the emphasis off clothing and focus on letting our students personality and talents be what makes them stand out in a unique way.

The standard GP Academy school uniform consists of a navy-collared white polo shirt with an embroidered logo and navy bottoms. In the winter, a solid navy blue or white sweater or sweatshirt (with no logos or designs) may be worn over a uniform shirt. Students are required to remain in uniform for the entire school day.

Shoes must fit well, be comfortable and safe - sneakers, dress shoes, tie and velcro sport shoes are all appropriate. However, backless shoes, flip flops, sandals, and slippers are not permitted and will lead to a student not being able to participate in certain activities.

Fridays are “Dress Down” days for all students. Students are still expected to dress in a manner that is respectful, safe and not distracting. While students should still abide by the guidelines on shoes, most other clothing items can be worn.
